Please welcome our next artist to the spotlight of Navarre’s Lounge, RX. This Seattle, Washington based musician released his new album titled “Epilogue” on all major streaming services. Some influences of RX are Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and James Bay. When listening to this artist, you can hear influences from all three-artist listed, as well as the personal touch added by RX himself.
RX has been about this music business for a decent amount of time now. There are a handful of released titles under his belt, and each track feels like every ounce of RX was put into the soul of the music. “Epilogue” features 10 tracks of a variety of feelings of music, each a unique listening experience from the last. I heard the first few tracks of this project and immediately set aside time to listen to the rest of it.
This album’s vibe is one that refreshes not only the listener’s ears, but also their heart. The words speak of meaningful topics that reflect emotions of pain, hurt, happy, joy, sad, upset, and everything in between. It is like going to the theater and watching an amazing movie; at the end you just must take a couple of deep breaths and finish eternalizing what you just witnessed. A good way to describe “Epilogue” is it is a palate cleanser for your mental and emotional wellbeing. It is a good night’s rest after a long day of work. There is no way for RX to go but up, and best believe he is not slowing down any time soon.
